What Can the Memo Board Do to Help Me?
The memo board is designed to help you remember the essentials for each day. It is ideal to remind you of shopping lists, family schedules, phone numbers, event reminders and other important information. Labelled photos are perfect for those who have trouble putting the name to the face.
Who Is the Viso Memoday For?
The Memoday is designed with the needs of Alzheimer's and dementia patients in mind. Essential information to help them feel secure, or so they know what to do in an emergency, can be represented on the board. This helps with temporal and general orientation.
What Are the Functions of the Clock?
The clock is particularly large for easy viewing, and features both an analogue and digital display. It will display the day, time of day, month, date, or all four in an alternating pattern.
What Are the Included Stickers?
The stickers can be removed and replaced easily. They suggest reminders of the season, meal times, phone numbers, addresses, doctor's phone number and emergency contact number.
What Are the Benefits of Reality Orientation for Dementia Sufferers?
Reality orientation, for instance knowing the time and day, can help reduce confusion and give dementia sufferers a better sense of security. Studies have shown that reality orientation slows the progress of the disease, and has a positive effect on the patient's ability to interact socially.
