Boston Scientific LithoVue Elite™ – IRP Digital Ureteroscope System
The Boston Scientific LithoVue Elite™ Single-Use Digital Flexible Ureteroscope System with Intrarenal Pressure (IRP) Monitoring represents the cutting edge in ureteroscopy, designed for clinicians who demand top-tier visualization, safety insights, and operating efficiency. It combines high resolution imaging, real-time pressure feedback, and seamless OR integration to give urology teams superior control over kidney stone treatment and other ureteral procedures.
Key Features & Benefits
IRP (Intrarenal Pressure) Monitoring in Real Time
Instant, second-by-second intrarenal pressure data is displayed directly on the OR monitor alongside the endoscopic image. Enables immediate awareness of pressure changes inside the collecting system, helping reduce risk for complications like organ damage, infection, or systemic response.
Superior Visual Clarity & Wide Field of View
Utilizes a high-resolution digital chip combined with proprietary VividVue™ Technology image processing. Results: bright, sharp, clear images with accurate, bold colors and fast image response. Wide view and a full 270° deflection in both directions for maximum maneuverability and access.
Optimal Physical Specifications
Distal tip diameter: 7.7F; Maximum shaft outer diameter: ≤ 9.5F (~3.23 mm)
Working channel: 3.6F Inner Diameter (ID)
Working distance (depth of field): 2 – 50 mm, allowing close-up and broader visual context as needed.
Improved Workflow & Safety
Disposable, single-use ureteroscope: eliminates the costs and risks associated with repairs, reprocessing, sterilization, scope downtime, or performance degradation over time.
Built-in light source in the handle and flexible sheath with integrated camera head—no need for external attachments.
Programmable buttons on the handle for direct control of image/video capture from the sterile field in certain models (Elite) to reduce staff coordination needs.
OR Integration & Reduced Footprint
The StoneSmart™ Connect Console in the Elite System enables seamless OR integration: compact processing unit, fewer bulky add-ons, easy display via existing OR monitors, tower or mobile carts. Designed to minimize the capital footprint and operating room clutter.
