The most stylish dressage saddle pad that LeMieux has ever produced. The Loire collection exudes sophistication and class. The woven satin fabric gives these saddle pads a beautiful lustre, while the wonderfully soft and breathable bamboo lining continues to be an advantage. The 100% natural bamboo material regulates heat and perspiration and transports moisture very efficiently. The entire saddle pad benefits from a new, extensively researched, soft and friction-free suede weave that has been specially crafted to smoothly contour the edges. This new technique helps to maintain the perfect shape and profile of the saddle pad.
The textured PU leather area protects the saddle pad from the girth and is complemented by an embossed logo. It has the usual LeMieux lower girth with internal locking loops. The special detail of the Loire dressage saddle pad is its unique metal badge on a leather holder in the lower rear corner.

Beating guns - important things to ponder (so they do not beat us!)
Format: Kindle
I recently read an early copy of this book (Feb 2019). Beating Guns presents a thoughtful view of guns in our country. Seems like a good overview of where we are and how we got there. I appreciate that the views are presented by (fellows) that have held guns, so that they are not an abstract concept but a reality to them. I would hope this book helps people see the issues perhaps with a bit more understanding, and that in turn may lead to dialogue between people to arrive at a less antagonistic situation. This topic is complicated; no one book can possibly cover all the angles and options, yet this book and this approach are a reasonable way to keep people thinking about solutions.

Read it. You'll like it.
Format: Kindle
This book is challenging. Mostly because it hurts. It hurts to see statistics. It hurts to see memorials of lives lost that didn't have to be. But for me, it hurts because we are to be kingdom people now and we've failed on the gun front. I'm in the process of taking a rifle that was used in suicide and turning into a tool for life. We need to do that. So buy the book. Read it. Wrestle with it. Then get to turning swords into ploughshares.
